Big Bream On Overlooked Lure
It has been a super duper long absence of luring for me since the weather has been strong north-easter and hot weather. Went out on Sunday for a really crappy wind and super hot day! Sweat like hell non-stop and only managed smallish flatty and bream and snagged 2 softies! KNNBCCB! Waste effort siah!
So I thought, must redeem myself. Excuse lah! Want to fish say go fishing lah, bo liao leh! Ok, nowadays I realised my blog getting more vulgar and singlish-cised. The wind finally died down after an entire week and it was blowing a mild southerly. So a trip was made to Iron Cove. Alas, was supposed to call Jialiang out but ended up also woke up late and was already highest tide over there. So decided a quickie will do. Saw a lure I super long never used already and gave the pearl blue bm a go. Few casts later, got a good solid take at jewfish spot! This one went ballistic and gave 4 good hardout runs! Damn shiok fight from this 37cm bream, had a few dramas trying to bring her up cos the nearby steps was blocked by overgrown tree branches! KNNBCCB!

Continue down towards the drain with assortment of hardbodies but only few bumps here and there but no hookup. Used the sandworms and other soft plastics only to get raped by the usual CB toads. Tried the new lure I got from eBay which is the ZipBaits Rigge and only managed one super duper small baby flatty.
