Lures My Worst Enemy?
To my wallet of course! KNNBCCB, no income still keep buying tackles and lures! Ok lah, I know my limit. Anyway, forgot to post a pic of a previous capture when I was in Double Bay trying out the Bassday Sugar Deep minnow I got couple of weeks back. Scored a nice 35cm whiting which I took home to try out how nice they taste.
Then as usual, hand itchy and always monitoring lures on eBay. Have been eyeing on a Megabass lure for quite sometime but just couldn't bid on a cheap price. Got fed up and finally took one on a 'Buy-it-now'. Cost me about AU$22 and finally my Live-X Smolt arrived from Jepun!

As usual, hand itchy, so took the towadi lure and try out at my favourite surface action spot. Finally I managed to work those 'walk-the-dog' lures to better action and control! Can seriously tell you they rock, the action was damn sexy. Though downside is that it's only 1.8g and casting them is not so ideal from land. Anyway, no follows whatsoever. Think the surface water temperature is dropping now and they don't feed on the prawns anymore. Tried the modded Smolt and only managed one silver biddy!
